What do you do as an IT Support Employee at Coolblue?
As an IT Support Employee, you start your shift by checking critical systems in Datadog. Everything green? Great. Something red? You jump on it right away. You help colleagues with questions and incidents that come in via Slack, Jira or phone. From a forgotten password to an incident in a core system: you solve it or know who to involve. You make sure new colleagues get access to the right systems, fix ad hoc requests and bring structure when chaos threatens to take over. During larger incidents, you join a Slack war room and keep an overview while coordinating with other teams at the same time. Thanks to you, every Coolblue employee can simply keep working. This is what you enjoy doing
- Starting with a monitoring check in Datadog and jumping in immediately when systems start acting up.
- Resolving incidents ranging from forgotten passwords to complex system failures.
- Bringing structure to a Slack war room when things start to creak and groan.
- Arranging access to tools and systems, from a new colleague to a temporary expert.
- Quickly solving simple questions that are a showstopper for the other person.
- Helping colleagues via Slack, phone, Jira or with a quick remote session.
