What do you do as a Junior Buyer at Coolblue?

As a junior buyer, you are responsible for building partnerships with your most important suppliers. Together with your team, you manage a product category, such as Laptops & Desktops or Audio Products. To do this, you are continuously negotiating to secure the best purchasing deals. You handle the contract negotiations and relationships; your Supply Planner is responsible for operational purchasing and inventory management. You make structural purchasing agreements with your suppliers. You become part of a close-knit team with whom you consult daily, tackle obstacles and celebrate successes.

Building sustainable relationships with your suppliers. Together, you create short- and long-term plans.
Analyzing sales reports and market data and preparing forecasts.
Smashing the records of previous campaigns with a new, improved marketing campaign.
Giving a presentation to an international delegation for the annual contract negotiation.
High-fiving when it turns out that the promotions you launched work very well. As a junior buyer, you will receive personal guidance within a complete team during your first six months, so that you can learn all the ins and outs of the profession as quickly as possible. After this period, you may be assigned your own area, possibly in another team.

Completed a commercial degree at a university of applied sciences or university.
