What do you do as Lead Buyer Telephony at Coolblue?

As Lead Buyer Telephony, you are responsible for the success of part of the Telephony category. Think mobile phones, tablets and wearables. You develop purchasing strategies, secure the best deals with suppliers and ensure the right stock at the right time. You help your team with negotiations, assess plans and challenge them to deliver results. You work with supply chain planners, buyers, data specialists and the manager of your category. Together, you take great commercial steps and grow the Telephony category without overextending it.

• Determine purchasing strategies for products such as mobile phones, tablets and wearables
• Conduct negotiations with the most important suppliers of mobile phones
• Translate inventory targets into concrete plans with your team
• Coach buyers and help them grow in their profession
• Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for new products
• Present team results and insights during demos.

This is how you recognise yourself

• At least 5 years of experience as a category buyer.
• HBO/WO level of working and thinking.
• You are sharp with numbers and commercially skilled.
• Experience in leadership.
• You think strategically, but are not put off by operational actions.
