As a Port Worker, you play an important role at the terminal by monitoring, setting and inspecting refrigerated containers. You ensure that the correct temperatures are set, connect and disconnect containers, and carry out regular inspections to guarantee quality and safety. Your work is essential to keeping the logistical processes at the terminal running smoothly.
An average working day consists of checking various refrigerated containers, identifying irregularities and resolving any malfunctions. You are part of a close-knit team, but you also regularly work independently. Working hours are flexible: you may be scheduled for morning, afternoon or night shifts, depending on your availability. Requirements- At least VMBO level of education and thinking
- In possession of a VCA Basic certificate
- 0-1 years of work experience (beginners welcome)
- You can work independently and are a real team player

- Hands-on mentality and flexible availability (for example, taking over night shifts)
- Gross hourly wage between €13,28 and €16,41, depending on experience
