Private Label Sourcer - 32-40 hours

As a Private Label Sourcer, you find the right suppliers in Asia for our own brands. Together with fellow Coolblue colleagues, you develop new products that fit our commercial opportunities. This way, you directly impact margin, assortment and customer satisfaction.

What do you do as a Private Label Sourcer at Coolblue?

In this role, you translate commercial opportunities into concrete products for our own brands. You develop products, look for suitable suppliers in Asia, request quotations and samples, and assess the best options together with Product Management. You focus on price, quality, delivery time and inventory risk, and negotiate the terms. You also ensure that all products comply with the agreements made and laws and regulations. This way, you make customers and Coolblue colleagues happy with our private label products.

• Find and assess new suppliers in Asia based on quality, price and development capabilities.
• Build a strong supplier network and maintain relationships with manufacturers.
• Refine product specifications and develop new private label products.
• Negotiate prices, terms, minimum order quantities and delivery times.
• Visit trade shows and suppliers in Asia.
• Ensure that products meet quality requirements and comply with laws and regulations.

This is what you bring

• A completed degree from a university of applied sciences or university.
• Relevant work experience, for example as a sourcer or in a commercial role.
• Experience with purchasing in Asia.
• Experience with product development.
• Commercially strong and convincing.
• Comfortable making contact with different stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
