What will you do?
Warehouses are characterised by a controlled environment with numerous transport movements and complex logistical processes carried out by both internal and external personnel. All goods in storage have value, which creates risks such as internal theft, burglary, vandalism and embezzlement. Warehouse security is therefore an umbrella term for all kinds of security measures in and around a warehouse.
As a security officer in our warehouse in Bleiswijk, you ensure a safe and structured working environment. You play an important role in maintaining security procedures and identifying irregularities.
Primary duties:
- Proactively monitor the site and ensure a safe environment.
- Act as a point of contact for visitors and colleagues.
- Act professionally during incidents, such as alarm response.
- Carry out patrols, including closing rounds.
- Prepare reports in our systems.
Secondary duties:
- Manage keys and access control.
- Register visitors and check carrier documentation.
- Monitor cameras and identify irregularities.
- Check identities and conduct searches.
Requirements:
- You have a Security Officer 2 diploma or are willing to obtain it through us.
- You have completed havo, vwo or mbo-4 and want to follow the training.
- If you are from Delft, a category B driving licence is required; a pool car is used between Delft and Bleiswijk.
- You are flexibly deployable.
- A police screening is part of the procedure.
